04.04 Alessandro Spadola was appointed “Ambassador for the Business Tourism of the Principality of Monaco”. The prestigious acknowledgement was officialised on March 30th in Villa Tasca, in Palermo, during the 3rd Meeting of the “Ambassadors Club”. Emanuele Bruno, Monaco’s consul in Palermo and Project Leader of the “Ambassadors Club” conferred the parchments during the ceremony. “I feel honoured that I can represent our region along with other Sicilian entrepreneurs and professionals- affirms Caffè Moak’s Executive Director. “Rather than a title, this appointment is a commitment to build new links with Monaco and strengthen the relationship with Italy, with a view to promote not only commercial initiatives, but also events ranging from the medical and research sector to the sport and tourism sector”.
The Ambassadors Club for the Business Tourism of Monaco was set up in Italy upon an idea by Gianmarco Albani, former director of the Tourist and Convention Authority of the Principality. Today, it gathers more than 200 Ambassadors – representatives of the business, research and trade association fields – working in the Italian cities of Venice, Florence, Milan, Turin, Rome, Naples, Cagliari and Palermo.
